Using the Interactive Research Ethics Timeline

Welcome to the PRIM&R Interactive Research Ethics Timeline! This guide is designed to enhance your experience with this resource across all devices.

Open the Menu

  • Click on the menu icon (☰) to expand the menu
  • The menu will slide down, revealing the available tools
  • To hide the menu, click on the menu bar title or anywhere outside the menu area

Search Events

  • Search for specific events, keywords, or phrases using the search bar
  • The timeline dynamically updates as you type
  • Search works independently of filters

Filter Events

  • Isolate events by "Type" or "Years" using the corresponding filters
  • Combine filters and search to tailor the timeline to your interests
  • Active filters are highlighted, while non-active filters in the pulldown menu

  • Hover over events to open tooltips with additional information
  • Scroll within tooltips for comprehensive event descriptions
  • Tooltips are designed to be responsive, adapting their position and height based on available space
